Resources for folks outside the DC area! (but also useful for DC people)

Preventing Donald Trump from stealing the election and remaining in office is likely to take mass, sustained disruptive movements all over the country. In DC, ShutDownDC is building a movement capable of such disruption. But disruption in DC alone is not enough. Neither do we believe it is fruitful, or safe right now, for hundreds of thousands or millions of people to come to DC for a symbolic protest.

What we need is for people in thousands of communities all over the country to take to the streets. And we have some resources to help you plan for that! While we don't have the capacity to do one-on-one training right now, we hope these resources will be helpful as you make plans for this fall and winter. (If you ARE in the DC area, forward this email to friends and family who live elsewhere!)

First, stay on this email list and follow us on social media for information about upcoming trainings. Our trainings will be held both in person and on Zoom, making them accessible to you wherever you are. Right now our online training calendar includes:

We’re adding more events and trainings every day so please keep checking our calendar!
